Welcome to Black Forest Primary School

Located in an inner city suburb of Adelaide, we are a large government funded school, catering for children from Reception (5 year olds) to Year 7 (13 year olds). The school's name originated from 'The Black Forest' that covered the area in the 1800s. We pride ourselves on fostering a community spirit to achieve excellence in education.
One of our most valued facilities is the School Garden, established in the 1980s by parents and members of the community. The School Garden provides a focus for environmental programs across all year levels. Links have been established with the Landcare program at Banrock Station. Students and their families visit Banrock Station annually to plant trees and further their environmental awareness.
We invite you to explore our website to find out more about the Black Forest School Community and the programs we offer students.
